This was the second time we started the new LS6 motor in my 70 vette. Michael my stepson is at the wheel shocking us. This is open headers at this point. I had no idea I was covering the mic during most of the video. You can hear the change in sound when I moved my finger.

The new Cadillac XLR was touted as the most exciting Cadillac since the 1967 Eldorado, and was welcomed by the automotive press as a step in the right direction. Bloomington Gold Corvette Car show 2008...the 2009 Corvette ZR1 was just tested to be the fastest car in production. When tested at a track in Germany it beat the previous world record lap time recently held by the 911 turbo GT3 by 20 seconds.

An MTI 427 ZO6 runs a 9.9 1/4 at 143 MPH.

Corvette Racing driver Jan Magnussen almost saw the top of the podium during the American Le Mans Series finale at Laguna Seca, but instead he saw the track-side hospital. Magnussen, driving the No. 3 Compuware Corvette C6.R spent the last several laps of the race battling alonside Jörg Bergmeister in the Flying Lizard Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 RSR, before crashing into the wall just feet from the finish line, allowing the Porsche to finish first just 1.037 seconds ahead. Chevrolet decided against airing this ad soon after it was shot because they were concerned that people might not realize that it was a dream. The words "This is a dream. Do not drive without a license" appear in the first few seconds of the commercial but they still decided against airing it.

Brian Seery in his red 80 vette vs. Joe Beatty in his 61 vette. Both vettes put on a great smoke show. Brian\'s was tire smoke and Joe\'s was just a smoke show. The crowd voted for Joe but he was disqualified. I caught the last 15 seconds of the burnout.

St. Petersburg, Florida � A deady crash, chase, then surprise for a St. Pete homeowner. St. Petersburg police say a white Chevy Malibu T-boned a red Corvette at the intersection of 36th Avenue and 34th Street North. The driver of the Corvette died. Florida Highway Patrol quickly responded because witnesses say the trooper was behind the car. Police say the suspect in the car, William Watson, took off running after the accident. Authorities say Watson ran into an occupied home on 27th Avenue North, where he allegedly beat up the resident. St. Pete police also say Watson ran into a second home and committed a burglary. He was then caught and taken into police custody. Watson faces several charges including drug posession, burglary, fleeing and eluding and vehicular homicide. This video shows what HID lights look like as they warm up. HID lights start dim and get brighter over the course of about 15-20 seconds. this shows two sets, 880 6000k HID fog lights come on first, then the 9006 6000k HID low beams. The vehicle is a 1999 C5 Corvette.

The Lingenfelter Track Rental Day at Muncie Dragway produced a new fastest time for the Lingenfelter 2009 ZR1 Corvette. This Lingenfelter ZR1 has the latest version of our second level of supercharger upgrades and produces an impressive 739 RWHP & 720 RWTQ. The Lingenfelter supercharger upgrades included our pulley upgrade, air intake modifications, intercooler improvements and tuning. This was run with stock exhaust manifolds and factory cat back exhaust with Mild to Wild Switch.

The Lingenfelter 2009 ZR1 Corvette just made its first 9 second run December 7, 2009 with the Lingenfelter LS9 supercharger upgrades. This pass was 9.861 @ 144.67 MPH! Later that day we made another run and went 9.813 @145.74 MPH!
